Our trip to Italy
We left Banyoles at 5:30. Our first destination was the airport of Barcelona. Our flight left Barcelona at 9:00 more o less. We arrived to Italy at half past ten. Then we took a bus and we went to Sirmione to see the Lago di Garda and to have lunch in a good restaurant from there. In the afternoon we went to Verona. There we visited the amphitheatre and the house of Juliet.
On Tuesday we took the train and our destination in this case was Venice. We passed all Tuesday in Venice. We visited a museum, where I bought some jewels for my mum, the S. Marco place, the bridge of Rialto and other interesting places. We used the vaporetto too. We returned to Verona at night to sleep there.
On Wednesday morning we took a bus to go to Firenze. We arrived there at lunch time. In the afternoon we only did a walk in the center of the town. It was a relaxing day.
On Thursday we visited the Uffizzi's galery and their academy where we could see the statue of David by Miquelangelo. and we went to the dome of Santa Maria del Fiore. In the afternoon we had some free time to buy things for our family in the center of Firenze.
On Friday we got up early we took our luggage and we went to Pisa before returning to Banyoles. There we saw the tower and all the people of the class have done a photo with it.
It was a fantastic trip.

Hi Zlatan,
Nice to meet you! My name's Pere and I'm fifteen. I live in Banyoles, a little town in Catalonia. I live with my parents, my brother Jordi and my dog. We live in a flat. It's got three bedrooms and a big terrace.
I go to school by motorbike every day. My favourite subjects are P:E and English. I don't know what I want to study when I leave school. I enjoy playing football. We're the seconds in the table in our league.
At the weekend I play football matches and I meet friends to. In my free time I watch football matches with my father.
Write soon and tell me all about yourself, your friends and your family.
Best wishes xxx

Hi Joan,
We're having a freat holiday here in Sicilia. We're staying in a hotel near the beach. The hotel's got a very big swimming pool, a restaurant, a gym, etc. There are lots of things to do here. The people is not very friendly and there are lots of turists like us.
Last week we visited the volcano called Etna. It was a great experience but it was too cold! This island is very beautiful, and it has a fantastic weather, I think I will come here next year too.

Pere

Writing halloween:
Halloween is a yearly celebration in some countries. Typical festive Halloween activities include trick or treat, attending costume parties, decorating, pumpkings into jack-0'-lanterns, apple bobbing, visiting haunted house attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films.
Today's halloween customs were influenced by the Celtics.
The most famous symbols for Halloween are pumkins, witches, vampirees, zombies and skeletons.
Candy apple also represents a traditional food from Halloween.
Trick or treat is a customary celebration for young people on Halloween. Children go in costume from house to house, asking for treats such as sweets or some other things, with the question, "Trick or treat?" The word "trick" refers to "threat" to perform mischief on the homeowners or their property if no treat is given.
